Sign up for Birdathon 2012!

Join Golden Gate Audubon Society members and other wildlife lovers in a unique and inspirational fundraising event. Collect pledges from friends for the number of bird species you spot, or make a donation to join in a guided walk led by an experienced naturalist.

No matter which way you choose to participate, the funds go to helping Bay Area bird populations — through GGAS’s habitat restoration, conservation and eco-education programs.

See our special Birdathon web site (birdathon.dojiggy.com) for details and registration. Or if you prefer to register off-line, call us at (510) 843-7293 and ask for a Birdathon registration packet.

When: The month of April 2012 — you choose the date, time, and way you want to participate

Where: Any place there are birds!

The GGAS Birdathon is a great activity for both first-time and experienced birders — for individuals, families, or groups of friends or co-workers.

Want help in organizing a Birdathon trip or figuring out how to solicit pledges from your friends? Call us at (510) 843-7293 or email us at birdathon@goldengateaudubon.org.

There will be a celebration dinner for all participants on May 10th at the Brazilian Room Room in Tilden Park, and (of course!) prizes for top fundraisers, most species sighted, best birds sighted, top fledgling birder (ages 5 through 12) and more.
